Your adventure starts in the city of contrasts, Marrakech. Upon your arrival, one of our professional drivers will be awaiting you at the airport gate, welcoming you with a beautiful smile and transporting you to your haven in the medina of Marrakech. You will then be welcomed by the staff with mint tea and receive tips on how to navigate the labyrinthine souks and maze-like alleys. You will not only talk to locals but also share some tea with them. In the evening, your setting will be on the terrace, taking in the beauty of the nature surrounding you.

DAY 3 : Day 3: Ouirgane to Ait Benhaddou via the High Atlas Mountains

Today, you will witness a change in flora as you leave the Atlas Mountains for Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, near the gateway to the desert: Ouarzazate. Our driver will ensure to stop whenever you would like in order for you to take pictures, as you will definitely be in awe of the atmosphere. Arrive at Tizi n’Tichka Pass before reaching the historic ksar of Ait Benhaddou. In 1987, UNESCO recognized the site as a World Heritage site for its traditional Saharan habitat and impressive fortifications. The lunch pause will be at a local cooperative founded by local women, where you can chat with them. We support efforts to empower women and acknowledge their colossal contribution to the community and the nation at large. In the evening, you can stroll through the village for more discovery and take your personal or Instagram pictures.

DAY 4 : Day 4: Journey to Todra Gorges via the Valley of Roses

After a good breakfast in the kasbah, you will drive through the picturesque Valley of Roses. Before that, you will visit the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate to learn about the most powerful family in the south: the El Glaoui family. Continue to the Valley of Roses and stop at a cooperative where local women produce rosewater. Here, you will learn about the production of the rose, for which a festival is organized around the beginning of May to celebrate its harvest. The next destination will be the stunning Todra Gorge, known for its dramatic rock formations. Enjoy a guided hike in the palmery and learn about traditional Berber crafts. Tinghir is the capital of traditional markets, gathering people from the surrounding areas, including nomads.

Again, lunch will be served by these inspiring Berber women. In the evening, you will have some free time to walk in the village and engage with the locals.

DAY 6 : Day 6: Todra Gorge to Merzouga & Camel Trek into the Sahara

Today, an amazing experience awaits in the Merzouga Sahara Desert. Merzouga is famous for its golden sand dunes and luminous sunsets. On the way, you will stop to delve into the Berber irrigation systems that carried water from the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara—astonishing, undoubtedly. We can stop for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our journey through the scenic Ziz Valley. We will reach Merzouga before sunset, allowing you time to settle into your well-equipped tents before saddling up your camel and trekking across the glimmering sand of the Sahara. There is also an option for a 4x4 trek for those unable to ride a camel. Spend the night in the Sahara Desert, creating unforgettable memories by dancing with the Berbers and your family or group.

DAY 7 : Day 7: Fossils of Alnif & Pottery in Zagora
